FROM JEFF:
I have worked on these saxophone books for many, many years – since the late 20th Century! There are 3 volumes in the collection and I highly recommend purchasing all 3. They encompass much of the material I have worked on in the past and extensively cover what I consider to be the 5 most important fundamentals in music. I call them THE BIG 5. Some of the information in these books might be familiar but it is approached in ways that are likely unfamiliar to most. Think about how athletes use muscle confusion to achieve results…there is a similar approach in these books.
I have packed in a lot of information into The Saxophone Book(s), yet, it is entirely possible for the student or pro to work at their own pace with nothing more than a metronome and tuner. I know these books will help you become a better saxophone player, I hope they also help you become a better overall musician.
